Driven by her passion for running and her desire to instill the same love for physical activity in her children, Claris founded Fit African Child. Through their daily runs and walks in Las Vegas, Claris witnessed the joy and excitement her boys experienced while being active and the love of going to the library and read books with her kids. This inspired her to extend her vision beyond her own family, with the goal of empowering children across Africa.

Claris envisioned a movement that would celebrate the vibrancy of African culture while promoting the importance of physical fitness and education. Thus, Fit African Child Active Wear was born.
